Case Study: The City & Guilds Group
The Cooks Company approached The City & Guilds Group for a match-funded initiative to support cookery training at The House of St Barnabas and Lakefield Hospitality College. A three-year deal was agreed for combined funds of £18,300 a year.
This arrangement met the City & Guilds Group purpose to help people, organisations and economies develop their skills for growth. Their charitable matched-giving scheme supports training initiatives that result in City & Guilds qualifications, allowing the Cooks’ Company to provide financial assistance for the education and training of nine students each year, in preparation for careers in the catering industry.
